Shreeshan has around a decade of experience working on climate change. Following an education in engineering, development economics and journalism, Shreeshan cut his teeth as the climate correspondent at Down to Earth magazine and the Centre for Science and Environment in New Delhi. Before joining the CAN Secretariat, Shreeshan managed and helped develop CarbonCopy, an online portal specialising in long-form analyses and reportage on climate change and decarbonisation with an emphasis on perspectives from the Global South. He also led the policy work at Climate Trends- a research and communication organisation devoted to helping build and socialise inclusive climate policy in India. Shreeshan is currently based in Goa, India and when he’s away from his desk, he enjoys spending time with his dog at the beach.
