Riedo “Rei” Panaligan holds leadership roles in different climate and renewable energy networks in Southeast Asia and the Philippines. He has been involved in the environmental justice movement for more than 2 decades, with a focus on providing technical, fundraising, and organizational development support to grassroots organizations and indigenous communities.

Rei is a registered engineer and is currently the President of Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology (CREST), a technical organization that pushes for the rapid adoption of decentralized, community energy systems.

He loves the outdoors, as well as spending time with his family on hikes or travels to the sea. He is based in the Philippines.
