Global Lead on Multilateral Processes

Rebecca has a background in Law and oriented her master's in International Public Law, focusing on International Human Rights Law and Migration. She has worked with Amnesty International and Lawyers without Borders before joining CNCD-11.11.11 (a national umbrella organisation engaging on various topics linked to international solidarity) where she was Climate Justice policy officer for more than 5 years. She has been working intensively on issues such as climate finance, Loss & Damage, human rights integration into climate policies and climate litigation. She was also the policy coordinator of the Belgian Climate Coalition, the national network working to push forward climate ambition and a just transition in Belgium. She is very much looking forward to taking part in CAN International's collective work to advocate for climate justice and equity within the different international processes. Rebecca loves to read, discover new places and dance and always welcomes a nice chat with colleagues and friends.
