Mariana Paoli is the Global Advocacy Lead at Christian Aid, where she manages a team that has a significant focus on climate justice and supporting southern-led climate movements. Her climate work focuses on the UNFCCC (together with ACT Alliance), as well as International Financial Institutions as part of the Big Shift Global campaign. She has over twenty years of advocacy and campaigning experience, having also worked for Greenpeace’s International, UK and Brazil offices. Mariana holds an MSc in Politics of Word Economy from the London School of Economics, and a BA in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University in São Paulo. She is originally from Brazil, and currently lives in Brighton, UK.
