About Erin
Erin worked with a number of international civil society networks in the course of her professional life. She managed civil society advocacy platforms such as the OECD/DAC CSO Reference Group and the Reality of Aid Network. Prior to joining CAN, she coordinated the policy advocacy work of the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness. Her thematic expertise includes development aid and cooperation, private sector engagement for development, CSO enabling environment, and financing for sustainable development.
She has a Masters degree in International Studies at the University of the Philippines and an Advanced Master in Development Evaluation and Management at the Institute of Development Policy at the University of Antwerp. During her free time, she teaches global issues and international studies at a university in Manila.
Erin is thrilled to work with CAN. She recognizes the crucial role of civil society in advocating against business-as-usual practices in fighting climate change. She is particularly excited to work with the CAN nodes and contribute towards advancing social justice in climate action.
