About Adela
Adela has 15 years of experience in the INGO sector. Before joining CAN-I, she worked at Amnesty International’s European Institutions Office in Brussels, providing strategic support in operations, advocacy, communication, and regional governance. She began her career at a British-Romanian NGO, developing educational and independent living skills programs for Romanian children with sensory disabilities and advocating for their rights.
A Romanian native based in Brussels, Adela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Communication. She speaks Romanian, English, Italian, French, and a little bit of Spanish.
Adela is passionate about human rights, climate and social justice, as well as promoting workplace wellbeing, integrity, transparency, and kindness.
