Flooding in Malabon City Philippines | #WorldWeWant

In Malabon City, Philippines, Cathy Gutierrez finds it increasingly difficult to do everyday tasks because of extreme flooding and heat. Worsening climate impacts have disrupted the harvest of vegetables and is affecting children’s health in her community. Residents have adopted a zero-waste lifestyle to reduce dumping garbage – particularly plastics- that clog the waterways but are also demanding that the government tighten regulation on polluting factories and transport in the area.
