About Zhanna

Zhanna holds a Bachelor Degree in Languages and Education from the Orenburg State University in Russia, and the Master of Science in Sport Business Management from the Sheffield Hallam University in the UK, both with a distinction.

She is a passionate event-manager, with more than 6 years of experience of working at international major events around the globe, specifically in operations support services, protocol and guest management, transport, logistics and delegations support. Zhanna is also a big advocate for volunteerism. She spent 12 months participating in the Erasmus + European Solidarity Corps Programme, serving as a long-term volunteer in Germany working for an NGO in Magdeburg on the projects in education, youth engagement and human rights, and several other international volunteer programmes in the sphere of sports, empowering minorities and cultural diversity.

Before joining the CAN-International team, Zhanna worked as a Protocol Operations Officer on the diplomatic mission in the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and later as an Operations Support Services Manager at the World Exhibition EXPO Dubai 2020, the UAE.

In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking and travelling. Born and raised in the Kazakh community in the south-east of Russia, she is currently based in Dubai.
