Sabrina Haboba

Just Energy Transition Project Manager

About Sabrina

Sabrina is a political scientist from the University of Buenos Aires and holds two Master’s
degrees — one in Social Policies from the University of Avignon (France), and another in
Diplomacy and International Relations from the Diplomatic School of Spain. She has solid
experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, alliance
building, and public policy advocacy.

Deeply passionate about social justice and international affairs, Sabrina began her journey
through volunteer work in grassroots social projects. Over the years, she has worked as a
project manager and social policy specialist across the public sector, international
organizations, and the labor movement. In Argentina, she worked in the Chamber of
Deputies and later in the international department of a national trade union
confederation, focusing on Just Transition and environmental issues. At the ILO Office for
Spain, she contributed to initiatives on the future of work and Just Transition, fostering
collaboration between governments, employers, unions, and civil society.

Before joining CAN, Sabrina served as General Coordinator of an international cooperation
NGO based in Madrid, where she secured public and private funding and managed
development projects from formulation to implementation, monitoring, and closure in
countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She later coordinated projects at another
Spanish NGO, where she led the development of multi-country consortia and the
formulation of European project proposals.

Originally from Argentina, Sabrina now lives in Madrid. Outside of work, she enjoys
traveling, writing, and participating in creative writing workshops. She’s also a fan of live
music and never misses a good concert.
