Marina Agortimevor, CAN West & Central Africa (CANWA)

Marina Agortimevor is a certified Professional Electrical/Electronics Engineer with the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE). She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

She has extensive experience across the renewable energy sector (solar), the power transmission and distribution sector, the climate space, sales & business development, and the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. She has worked across the government and private sectors as well as the international development and NGO space.

Marina is an environmental activist, and a renewable energy advocate. She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Africa Just Transition Network where she supports efforts to advance just transitions, climate justice, and equitable energy transitions across Africa and beyond.

She also volunteers as the Lead for the Ghana Chapter of the Council on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership.
