Isaac Kabongo is the Chairperson Climate Action Network Uganda (CAN-U) and the Executive Director of Ecological Christian Organization. He serves as the Vice Chairperson of Africa Coalition for Sustainable Energy and Access (ACSEA) and is a member of Climate Action Network Africa Working Group. He has worked at the community, national and international levels and has participated in the design and implementation of different climate-related campaigns and development initiatives nationally and globally. He has written a number of policy papers and briefs on climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, climate justice, climate finance, agro-ecology, food sovereignty and renewable energy. Isaac loves football and he trains with a local football team. He also promotes community-based ecotourism. He lives and works in Kampala, Uganda – the Pearl of Africa.
