About Immaculate

Immaculate Wanjohi joined CAN International in December 2020.

Prior to joining CAN International, Immaculate was a grants specialist at RTI International, where she coordinated the USAID Feed The Future Kenya Crops and Dairy Market Systems Activity. Before that, she worked as the finance and grants manager at Sustainable Environmental Development Watch (SusWatch Kenya). She was in charge of overseeing financial and grants management of development projects including the SIDA-funded LVEMP II civil society watch project in East Africa, USAID/PREPARED community climate change assessment project in East Africa and a Devolution and climate change adaptation program funded by DANIDA.
Immaculate is Kenyan. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from the University of Nairobi and is currently finalising her master’s degree in business administration with speciality in Finance from the same University. She has completed Section IV of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Kenya College of Accountancy University.
Immaculate enjoys exercising, travelling, watching movies, listening to music and dancing. She is very delighted to join the CAN International team and is looking forward to supporting the organization to achieve its noble goals.
