Imen is passionate about using film, new media and digital art to hone a craft of storytelling for impact. She worked with African-based NGOs, civil society and startups to create compelling stories and design community-led campaigns that are embedded in African experiences. She can transform abstract ideas into functional design solutions and digital campaigns, she is also a self-taught digital artist. Imen’s creative concepts and processes are rooted in artistic interdependence, intersectionality as well as a mastery of data & impact-driven productions. She is academically trained in film and new media with a focus on social research and public policy, she holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from New York University (NYU) and a Diploma in Entrepreneurial Leadership & African Studies from the African Leadership Academy (ALA). Imen believes that building tailored capacity-building programs can equip youth in the Global South with the relevant skills and tools to prepare them for emerging global realities. She led the inception and facilitation of entrepreneurial leadership accelerators and artivism workshops across Africa with organisations such as ActionAid Ghana / Senegal, ALA, Edutest, PMIEF and Bloomberg. She is excited to support CAN-I’s digital advocacy campaigns and expand the Network's engagement infrastructure. Imen is based in Tunis, Tunisia
