Board Focal Point for Anti-Bullying and Anti-Harassment

Dr. Alissa Tung is the Programme Director of CarbonCare InnoLab. She has extensive experience in community engagement and corporate engagement in the NGO sector. Alissa received a PhD in Material Science from Monash University, Australia, after graduating from Fashion Technology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research focus was on developing functional Self-Cleaning Textiles addressing pollution to the environment. She authored more than 10 peer-reviewed papers. Before devoting herself into fighting for climate justice, she was an experienced event planner.

She was the NGO observer of COP24 and COP26, which triggered her aspiration on youth empowerment on climate actions. She initiated the Climate Advocacy Training for Youth (CATY) to train Hong Kong climate youth leaders to voice at international platforms, and SolarCare programmes to bring impact on the solar energy in the fuel mix in Hong Kong. Alissa is committed to boosting youth climate actions and connecting young people to the wider climate networks.
