The G7 Summit of the world’s most powerful leaders on 11 -13 June will be a test of international solidarity during this health crisis. This is a turning point in how we build a safe, healthy and just future. Wealthy nations are nearing universal vaccination while many other countries are still in the grip of the virus.
The widening divide between those vaccinated and those not will compound existing inequities. CAN joins the call for a ‘People’s Vaccine’ for rapid and equitable distribution of vaccines everywhere. The UK government must make this a priority.
