Ange David Emmanuel Baimey is a citizen of Cote d’Ivoire. He developped an interest in environment issues in 2006 after a toxic oil spill occured in his country, only a few meters from his home.
He is closely involved in youth contribution for progress in the implementation of sustainable NGO work in the environment field in his country. Ange joined JVE International, a powerful network of youth created in Togo, West Africa, and co-founded JVE Cote d’Ivoire in 2008, which he still directs.
Ange David has a Masters degree in Sociology with focus on the environment. Since 2012, Ange David has led research at Abidjan's School of Management, where he completed a Masters thesis on how the influence of local authorities in Cote d’Ivoire are linked to the development of climate change concerns.
Since June 2011, he has worked for Climate and Development Network, created by Enda Energie Senegal and RAC France as the coordinator-animator, as well as assisting the CAN WA Coordinator since April 2012.
